Push-ups are one of the first signs of trouble. |
Junior Discipline Policy:
We like kids to have fun learning tennis. Periodically, students will test and break the rules created to ensure a safe and effective learning environment.
When a rule is broken the student's first offense will generate a warning and/or some simple penalty like 10 push ups. We make it clear to the student it's not THEM we don't like it's their behavior- but stand firmly to the rules that keep order. The second offense will result in a 5 minute silent time-out on the bench. The third offense will result in a 15 minute silent time-out on the bench. If the behavior continues, a parent will be called to come pick up their child. That same child will be allowed to return the following class where the process will begin again. If it escalates to a phone call again, the student is dropped from the program without refund.
Rain Cancellations:
Programs cancelled because it's wet at The Marin Tennis Club will be credited. Classes missed because it's raining where YOU are will not. To find out the weather status for a class, call 462-1302 and follow the prompts. You will be forwarded to the cell phone of the head instructor for your program.
Summer Camp Cancellation Policy:
Cancel at least two weeks before the start date to receive a refund. After that, there will be NO CASH REFUNDS. However, you may exchange your week for another if space permits.
